FAQs |
Below
are the answers to some frequently asked questions: |
When are Shows On? |
See
the what's on page (flash site) for a schedule of the
next four weeks, or access a seasonal schedule from the
menu above. |
Why do shows not always stick to their schedule? |
The
schedule is there to help our creators keep to their own
production schedule. Occasionally creators can slip
behind. If we are made aware of the problem the schedule
will be updated to reflect changes. |
Can I suggest a show idea? |
Yes,
you can suggest an idea for a show. It will then be
passed to our current show creators. Email us from the
Sim Media
contact page.
If you want to make your own show, please see the
section below..

What is the archive? |
When
a creator decides their show is over, and no more series
are planned, the show is archived. You can still visit
the site and view the archived shows. |

Create a Show for SimTV |
If
you'd like to have your show on SimTV you must first
complete a number of steps. |
Step 1) First email us via the Sim Media contact
page, selecting the 'SimTV Show Suggestions' subject,
with a well-thought out description of the show. |
Step 2) Your show description will be reviewed by a
member of the SimTV Management team, and you will be
emailed back as soon as possible. |
Step 3) If we like the show idea we will ask you to
produce a pilot episode. You should take your time to
produce it, as it's a chance for us to see what sort of
media show creator you are and it makes you think about
sets, locations, characters, plots and storylines and
produce a detailed plan. |
Step 4) The pilot episode will be reviewed by a
member of the media management team, and occasionally by
other SimTV staff members. You will then be emailed with
your final feedback and further instructions. |
