I trust them, they clearly have things they need to improve on and I'm sure it'll be the best game I've ever played. It's just REALLY irritating, I wish they wouldn't set a time for release if they're not 100% sure. I get so excited.

I'll forgive them for it though as my two favourite games of all time are Red Dead Redemption, closely followed by GTA IV.

Forgot to mention that I played and completed Dishonoured over Christmas. It's a great game, albeit a bit short. People have called it Bethseda's version of Bioshock, which is a fair analogy tbh. The graphics are good, the gameplay is varied and the storyline is enthralling. I'd recommend it.

Also completed Deus Ex Human Revolution. It's one of my favourite series and one of the first stealth shooter games I got into. I think I played the first one back in 2001 or something. I love the whole body augmentation aspect of it, which I guess is why I also like games such as Dishonoured, Bioshock and Fallout.

Not sure which game will be next on my list. I have so many to play on Steam, but I'm cautious about getting addicted to something now, at a time when I need to study.

It'll probably be L.A. Noire.

I'm really looking forward to SC5, although from what I've seen I think it's not gonna be half as good as SC4. City size is pathetic and there's so much wasted space in the regions.

SimCity is infuriating. It's not problems with the server issues anymore. It's problems with the game crashing and completely annihilating your city from the face of the world. I spent about 3 hours (of albeit precious revision time) building a city tonight, and all of a sudden it says, "It appears your city is not processing properly. Please return to the region and attempt to roll back to a previous processed state." Then it gave me the option of "rolling back" my city (kinda like going back to an old saved game), or abandoning it. I clicked roll back, but then it just stopped working and the whole region was just wiped from my account.

It's fucking ridiculous. There's no "save" feature at all. It depends on the "always on" functionality of saving automatically as it goes along. I was playing in a private region so I wouldn't get a bunch of noobs building cities next to mine, so I don't even need that dumb feature to maximise interactivity between players' games.

The small city sizes are workable at first, but they do get frustrating once you've spent up to 2 hours on a game and need to expand more.

My advice is to not buy the new SimCity. Waste. Of. Money.

I'm just glad I got another game (Dead Space 3) free with it. :D

Okay, since I've had a bit more time with Sim City, I've come around a bit.

It's pretty good and it's satisfying to make a pretty grand, autonomous city that makes a lot of money through the new specialisation features.

However, its flaws still remain. The AI isn't spot-on and the cities are too small. I hope they update it with new maps with bigger allotments for cities.

Not sure if anyone here has a 3DS but with Fire Emblem: Awakening I think they finally have a must have game for the handheld. It's a strategy RPG & there's so much customisabilty and characterisation that it's possibly my favourite game ever. I'm already on my third playthrough which is pretty much unheard of for me as once I'm finished with a game once I tend to be done with it. There's a demo on the eShop so I'd recommend you try it.

Then there's Animal Crossing: New Leaf next week which I'm ridiculously excited for. Feels like I've been waiting for so long but it's finally nearly here!

I have a 3DS in preparation for Pokemon X/Y. I only have Zelda OOT as a proper 3DS game, but I might try Fire Emblem as I've seen positive reviews for it.

Anyone played/playing The Last of Us? I'm nearly finished, I think. It's so incredible, possibly my favourite game of the year so far.

I've still got Bioshock Infinite to complete when I get back home... I enjoyed the start of it but didn't get to play much of it.

It looks amazing; I just hope it's actually enjoyable to play. GTA IV was (for all its technical brilliance) quite a slog to play & just lacked any sense of lightheartedness. The trailer has made me a lot more optimistic though & the multiple characters thing should be fun.

Sleeping Dogs is currently my favourite open world crime game on PS3 but hopefully this will change that.

GTV IV was brilliant. I love the game, it's fantastic and the story really drew me in, but I can see where you're coming from. A more light-hearted game would be cool. San Andreas had a lot of funny moments.

I can't wait for this game to come out. Just two months and one week to go! My PS3 will probably be on constantly until Christmas. :P This will hopefully become my favourite video game of all time. That current title belongs to Red Dead Redemption, which was just a master piece in my opinion. The story-line was incredible, and it actually made me emotional at the end! Rockstar know how to make games!

OLD reply, but GTA is amazing but San Andreas takes the crown as my favourite :p

Anyone played the new Tomb Raider? That shit blew me into another century...felt like I was in the game it was that advanced.

I did, loved it! It was actually kinda creepy and had some elements of survival horror which I definitely didn't expect, but I love my games creepy so I'm not complaining.

I know, I was literally on the edge of my seat every time I went round a corner. It's one of the best gaming experience's I've ever had and I've played loads of stuff like COD, GTA, Resident Evil, the old Tomb Raiders etc.

My boyfriend played it and said it was a good game, but also said he expected more. He had really high expectations so that might be the problem. I say give it a shot. Especially if you like games like GTA as I've heard it has a lot of similarities.

Okay, it sounds like a concept that I would actually quite like. I love open world games like Far Cry 3, Saints Row 3, Fallout, Skyrim, etc., but I'm not really into GTA games. That might be because I haven't given them enough of a chance, but that's also because I find them hard to get into.

I'll probably like Watch Dogs though because it has a bit of a spin on it.

In the meantime I've been hoarding games for my ps3 XD
