Looking forward to it. We need some more Comedy on SimTV - with both you and Rob being such established writers and being very talented between you in Drama/Comedy, I'm sure it'll be brilliant. :)

I'd just like to take the time to point people in the direction of the Bob&Betty Wikia, which may be found here. We will await reception to the series following the first episode. They're not essay episodes, it won't be a difficult read. So, do take the time to have a look. Ta. 8)

Me and Rob LOVE this so much. It's my favourite project I do which is weird because Crystal Town always comes first. But Bob&Betty is just amazing, I really hope everyone likes it.

Due to the amount of ideas we've had. We have added an episode to the series, bringing the total to seven. That's one more juicy little episode for you to enjoy.

Have you thought about making it a Christmas special? I was thinking about getting as many SimTV writers to make some Christmas specials as I could, but then I thought that now is a little bit early to be thinking about xmas.

Yay! So can I finally do a bit of advertising for SimTV Comedy now?

(I need a picture of Bob and Betty to stick in a header, if you've got one)

Thanks to Rich's kindness he has agreed to put it up tonight instead of tomorrow. But it won't be announced on the site until tomorrow like all other shows.

Rich wrote:I quite enjoyed the episode, there were some funny lines and segments in there, like the random guy who was in Juliet's room. I think some parts were unclear though, like why Juliet's being sent away from her parents, and why is the episode unoriginally called 'Pilot'? (This is the third show, second by Sam, with Pilot as the Episode One title. Life's a Witch was going to be the same, till I requested it be changed)

I'm going to read it at the pace that it's published, so I'm looking forward to the next episode. ;)

Thanks Rich, apperaite your comment.

And how is the title "Pilot" unorginal? It's the name for the first ever episode of the show as it means the show is launching/taking off. All TV shows do it lol, well the majority.

And it clearly says in the first few pictures that Juliet is staying with the Newbies because it's closer to her college.

No, the vast majority don't, especially in this country, and it's inappropriate for your show because it is pre-planned, and expected to continue into a series. A 'pilot' is a single, one-off episode made from a collection of ideas and scripts and given to a network who decide whether it's good enough to be put on the air - sometimes it is, as a one-off comedy or drama, but ratings and reviews determine its future. This was going to be a proper series from the start, so an episode one titled 'Pilot' looks quite unusual and gives the impression the show might only be a one-off, which would be especially confusing for non-forum members, who might not know that it's being to be a series.

And anyway, onto the show, there were some comical lines, though sometimes it wasn't a bit clear.

Right can we please leave the name of the episode, it really doesn't matter.

What wasn't clear about the episode?
